The texture of the extension cord is nice as it's a little stiff and smooth so it shouldn't get tangled up. The thin cable is also nice so that it can easily be twisted around and then velcro tied so the cord doesn't get everywhere. It's a Sony product and they're usually over priced, but reliable and well made. I needed a cable to extend 10 feet since we have a small 2-bed condo and our little one can hear the noise, so we attached a radio shack extension cable, but it has issues connecting and the sound dips in and out. I reviewed the velco ties that I bought from Amazon as well if you want to see what I use. At any rate, I plugged these in and it was smooth as butter. The quality of the radio shack one was pretty poor, but I paid around $5. No more wiggling the cable to make sure it's connected and the extra length is a great since the radio shack one was an 8 footer.
The sound is great I would highly reccomend this product This is a great product.
I would recommend this product. The connection is pretty tight so the audio wire never comes out. I have purchased this cable to connect my TV to my speakers on my desk. The sound quality is great and the cord is pretty long.
some people have complained about the wires being too thin. however. the thinness of the wire makes them very light. and they are also very flexible and easy to manage.
i found the sound quality to be fine. being thin cables. keep them out of traffic. did not notice any difference. and they will be fine. but this is a positive and negative.
they are weaker. but i dont use expensive $200 headphones either. they dont pull down on my headphones. very comfortable to deal with.
Sound quality is very good as well, and the gold-plated contacts seem like they'll stand up to a lot of plugging/unplugging abuse. May be a little too thin to stand up to heavy use around the house, but was perfect for what I needed in the car. I was looking for an audio extension cable to use in my car, to extend the AUX input to my mp3 player. This cable fit the bill perfectly, as it is good quality but very thin, making it easy to hide behind trim panels and fish into the dashboard area.
